Unlike the colorful Gamay label, the Mondeuse label is another animal altogether: Black like no other, with a medieval motif, we love serving this wine in pewter goblets, painting our nails black and blasting Marilyn Manson while eating the meat of some sacrificed animal. On a serious note, what we love about this is its bright fruit due to carbonic maceration, easy accessibility (not always the case with Mondeuse)and its finishing notes of licorice and spice.
